As of the most recent LMI Institute board meeting held September 19, 2024, we are pleased to welcome Angela White as the 2024-2025 Board Chair and Mike Horrigan, President of the W.E. Upjohn Institute, as Vice Chair. Angela currently serves as the Director of Labor Market Information Services at the Kansas Department of Labor and has been on the LMI Institute board since 2020. Oklahoma’s Employment Security Commission has a section of their website specifically for veterans. This page has information on priority service for veterans, veteran hiring practices, and other resources for military and veterans. There is also information on monthly veteran ‘job clubs’ across the state which serve as job fairs with employers who are looking for new employees.

Guam provides many accessible resources for job seekers including a job search page. From there, potential employees can search for jobs by title, location, education, and more! There are also search options based on the job seeker’s skills. Other tools include a resume builder for posted jobs.
