The LMI Institute offers products and benefits exclusive to members. Since 2018, the Institute has published the Cost of Living (COLI) Adjusted Occupational Wage Comparison Tool. The tool provides wage estimates for various occupations across geographies all adjusted for local cost of living conditions based on C2ER’s unique measure.
The 2021 Adjusted Occupational Wage dataset was released in July 2021. Members may find the new data available in the LMI Institute member area, or available via the online store.

The Department of Labor is currently drafting its Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2022-2026. An outline of the plan structure (Strategic Goals and Strategic Objectives) and Priority Learning Areas from the new Evidence-Building Plan are available for comment at https://dol.gov/strategicplan until August 6 in English and Spanish versions. The final plan will summarize strategies and identify measures and areas of research to guide development of annual plans and management of DOL programs for the next four years. You will notice the reference to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Goal 4 – Produce Gold Standard Statistics and Analysis.
DOL encourages you to review and comment on the Department of Labor’s goals and priorities. Please send any feedback to dolstratplan@dol.gov.
