Intermediate R Programming for Workforce and Economic Development Research

Ready for the next steps in becoming an R expert programmer? C2ER and LMI Institute’s Intermediate R Programming workshop will provide the next level of skills needed including:
- modelling
- shiny apps
- data wrangling
- and writing your own functions
RStudio Certified Tidyverse Instructors will incorporate Federal economic statistical datasets in examples throughout the course for live demonstration of how this is useful to economic and workforce development researchers. Code will be made available to attendees via RStudio Cloud prior to and following this hands-on-keyboard session.
Attendees are encouraged to have completed the “R Programming for Beginners” offered through C2ER and the LMI Institute.
Please note this training is live instruction via Zoom.
Pre-work:
Prior to the session, students should create an account on https://rstudio.cloud/ website by signing up with an active email address, or with their Gmail or GitHub account. This is a free service and does not require a subscription. All required materials will be provided at the start of the day 1 session. Students will have access to these during the course and after the workshop.
