Data visualizations help users mine insights and identify trends in data. In this course, we’ll explore how to create a Tableau dashboard using State Certifications and Licenses data that allows users to identify trends in certification and license attainment and associated earnings by level of education and other selected features.
Tableau is a data analysis software that can help you produce more intuitive data visualizations, and we can show you how. Learn how to use Tableau software to produce data visualizations with State Certifications and Licenses data developed by the LMI Institute. This course will show you how to leverage LMI State Certifications and License data available to your agency to develop an interactive Tableau dashboard.

This course is designed as an introduction to the Tableau software and will walk users through creating an advanced data visualization. All participants need is to be ready to learn, ask questions, and overcome challenges. If you wish to do so, please review all materials made available for free as Basic Data Visualization Materials.
Required Tools:
Desktop/Laptop, wired mouse (recommended), Tableau Desktop (personal, professional, or public version), and Tableau Prep.
