Learn how to clean, shape, aggregate, and merge frequently used workforce and economic development datasets, including industry and occupational projections and community indicators, as well as how to organize your visualizations into informative dashboards using Tableau Desktop.

Analyzing big data using charts, graphics, and images is becoming more and more necessary for decision-making. This 8-hour course not only introduces you to the basic features and functions of Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop but also shows you how develop effective and attractive data visualizations as well as dashboards that tell an engaging and informative story. By the end of the course participants will be able to improve their data insights, make relevant and attractive charts, and create the impactful dashboard graphics.

As part of the hands-on, project-based learning experience, participants will apply the knowledge they gain in order to create an interactive dashboard in a small group using their choice of dataset(s).
