The LMI Institute is currently developing a series of product demonstrations to demonstrate the utility of occupational automation exposure scores for our partners in Education and Training, Labor Market Information, and Economic and Workforce Development. Throughout these demonstrations, the LMI Institute’s Automation Exposure Score will answer:
- What specific occupations are the most exposed to automation technologies?
- Are certain racial/ethnic and educational attainment groups concentrated in occupations that are highly exposed to automation?
- Are there automation-resilient career pathways with in-demand entry-level occupations with low barriers to access and that provide workers with family-supporting wages?
- How can we transition workers from occupations that are highly exposed to automation through career transition and skills-training services?
