Administrative Support

The LMI Institute offers management, staffing, coordination services, and training to support the broader LMI infrastructure.

The LMI Institute provides administrative and training assistance to the Projections Managing Partnership. This includes board relations, the coordination of supporting committees, the maintenance of the PMP training site, the development and implementation of training and technical assistance opportunities for state projections analysts, agenda development and logistics management for the PMP Summit, and other duties at the request of the PMP board of directors.

Communicating Separations Training
June 13, 2017

Grand Hyatt Denver
1750 Welton St.
Denver, CO 80202

In March 2015, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced its decision to adopt the Occupational Separations (Separations) methodology, replacing the current Replacement Rate (Replacements) methodology. While the current replacement and new separations rates attempt to measure the same concept, the latter is more comprehensive and typically yields openings that can be significantly higher. This half day course is geared toward LMI Directors and Managers tasked with communicating information about employment projections to the larger LMI user community.

Registration for the "Communicating Separations" course is free. It is held in conjunction with the LMI Institute Annual Forum, which requires a separate paid registration required.
